It is a very nice design IMO but if you do not like the design, don’t buy it. The handle is not thermally isolated from the body so it heats up. Not terrible but... it gets a little hot **Q: Can you use to heat milk, or only water?** A: I would not advise you to heat milk. Not only the milk boiling point is lower and you will risk spilling it over. But once you heat milk you will have a hard time cleaning it. So just use it for water. You may heat milk in the microwave **Q: Is there a place to hide the cord when not in use?** A: The base is designed for cord storage (simple, not spring- loaded). **Q: Does water come in contact with any plastic?** A: There is a plastic part around the spout, inside. For sure the steam riches that area and also water touches it when you pour it out However it is not residing in the boiling water unless you overfill it ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and looks cool *by N***L on October 6, 2026* I love love love this! I haven't had any issues with it leaking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it ☕️ *by J***N on February 10, 2026* I bought this tea kettle for my husband. He loves the look it’s sturdy and reliable. The price was right. It takes about as much time as most other pots to boil water ~5 to 7 minutes, if it is filled all the way. Does not have a keep warm button, but the water stays pretty hot for quite a while. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and looks good doing it! *by J***A on February 16, 2025* I didn't need it. I bought it because I loved the look. It takes about 5 minutes to boil a full pot of water. It doesn't have a keep warm feature but the water stays hot for quite a while after shutting off. I love that the top comes off for easier filling and cleaning. My other water kettle the top just flipped up part way and it was difficult to fill and impossible to clean. It has a window on the side of the pot so you can see how much water is in the pot. The knob to turn it on is large and you can't accidentally turn it in on when pouring. The handle is riveted on in an upright position. That's the only thing that I don't like. I would prefer that the handle fold down for easier filling and cleaning but it's not a deal breaker for me. I bought the toaster too and would buy them both again. I'm thinking about getting the matching coffee maker but maybe that's to matchy matchy? ## Frequently Bought Together - Haden Heritage 1.7 Liter Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, Hot Water Kettle with 360-Degree Base and Auto Shutoff, Ivory & Chrome - HADEN Heritage Stainless Steel 4-Slice Toaster with Extra-Wide Slots, Ivory - HADEN Coffee Machine, 12 Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker, Ivory & Chrome --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/464790272-haden-heritage-1-7-liter-stainless-steel-electric-kettle-hot](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/464790272-haden-heritage-1-7-liter-stainless-steel-electric-kettle-hot) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
