Our problem is that we have your typical working dog with no job. We had been walking him twice a day at one point and it just amped him up more. We had him on trazadone 3 or 4 pills, twice a day but then he just slept. Enter these calming chews. Depending on the circumstances, 3 or 4, given twice a day seem to do the trick. We can now enjoy our dog and he can enjoy life. He will still play fetch all day, everyday but now will also nap and just relax. He will accept commands, follow instructions, etc. We could finally train him effectively. Total gamechanger. Still need trazadone when guests come over, but not 3 or 4. More like 1. We recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely helpful but had trouble with ordering the small dog formula *by S***G on January 26, 2026* I have used the Composure for small dogs for a while, and they do wonders for my senior, rescue 10 pound Shih Tzu. She seems to enjoy the taste and it really does calm her down. This time I decided to buy a 60 piece bag instead of 30 and was surprised to find that it wasn't the small dog formula but their "for dogs of all sizes." I rechecked my order and the product on Amazon. I'm not sure why but on the product page "for the small dog under 30 pounds" it shows on the 30 piece, but if you aren't paying attention or looking closely, it automatically changes it to the "for all sizes" when you switch to 60 or 90 pieces. I can break them in half, but it wasn't really what I was expecting or wanting and was a little confusing when ordering.
