We threw knives for fun at a family gathering over winter break and my daughter enjoyed it very much. For her birthday I got her this set of SOG knives and with only having them out to throw about a dozen time two of the knives have broken. We purchase SOG based on written and verbal reviews from family and friends. The first knife broke it's tip after being thrown a few times and now over this past weekend the second knife broke in the handle where the "G" is located. Both times they were being thrown into wood stumps, so they were either landing in the wood or on the ground, no surface or rock around.
