I'm glad it comes with a saya wood sheath since many Japanese knives being sold on desertcart don't come with a saya. I really like the markings on the blade, but personally I marked out the brand's name, the 'made in China', and the steel material markings because it just looks 'weird' on the blade. One thing I don't like is how the red box of the knife is wayyyy too big. So I don't bring it with me to work, which is why, again, it's a good thing this knife comes with a saya.

Very good knife; sharpness is there and steel quality is great. Used it several times at work. I'm glad it comes with a saya wood sheath since many Japanese knives being sold on Amazon don't come with a saya. I really like the markings on the blade, but personally I marked out the brand's name, the 'made in China', and the steel material markings because it just looks 'weird' on the blade. One thing I don't like is how the red box of the knife is wayyyy too big. So I don't bring it with me to work, which is why, again, it's a good thing this knife comes with a saya.
