It's actually more of a wine/brownish color. That said... I'm a guy, but not embarrassed to use this color. I actually like it. It is a very nice case(investment) for a very expensive smart phone. The phone stays snugly in the rubber(not plastic) phone holder, and is removed easily. This case is genuine leather and would definitely purchase again, but i doubt i will have to. The case is well made. All the buttons line up perfectly, and the s-pen is easily accessible. Magnet to keep it closed is strong and card slots are cut well to fit cards securely and not be a pain. Cutouts for everything work well. The exception is the finger print reader, but I tried a few cases and they all fall short there due to the terrible spot Samsung chose to put the reader. It's not that great even wit no case and really a big fault of the phone itself. I would definitely recomend to anyone who wants a wallet case with a "premium" feel.
