I found that in the beginning I would put the product in my hair dry because my hair was very short and then when I took my shower I would wash it off. This product also does not stain my hands sometimes get a little bluish from it however it washes off very easily. When I went on vacation I put it in 3 oz containers to make sure I continue to use it. After swimming in the ocean I wanted to wash my hair with shampoo. So I mixed some with this product and kept my color. I haven't used shampoo since. I would recommend this to everyone. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! *by K***E on March 31, 2021* I have medium dark brown hair. My stylist had used provona silver on my hair and it colored it a slate blue. It was beautiful and everyone kept asking about it. But that kind of color can over time destroy hair. So I found keracolor. It amazing!! I bought the Smurf blue and the silver blue and mixed it together. What I did was put it on my dry hair and combed it through real well. I clipped my long hair and let it set for 2 hours. Friends of mine told me it didn't work well with brown hair. After letting it set for 2 hours I rinsed it out and styled my hair as normal. My hair had a good slate blue color. And that was just the first use. I'm very curious and excited to see how much more blue my hair turns. I totally recommend this product.
