I don't think there is any way to get these stools without a few nicks or dents, but I'm not the type that is that fussy. I'm sure the store would replace if it I wanted it, but it isn't worth the effort to me. One of the benches had a slightly curved foot rest, and there were some barely recognizable nicks, but for the price you can't beat them. They are sturdy, look fabulous. Colors are bright and cheery, and they don't take up a lot of space as they can be stacked. I'm very happy with them. While I had the devil of a time getting UPS to deliver them to me, the Buschman store worked closely with me on this matter, and they even refunded me an additional $10 off the order for putting up with the UPS mess.Their reps were very responsive and timely in working on this matter. I've been wanting to replace my kitchen stools for awhile now- but didn't want to pay $59-79 for each one. Not only are these half the price of the ones in the furniture stores- they are BETTER quality. They come fully assembled, with sturdy end caps, sit completely level, are solid without being heavy or cumbersome aaaaand are comfy for tall, short, in between, tiny and big butts. (We already have 5 stools). I needed something stackable because when they are not in use (which will be every other week) they will be in the garage. The shipping container was in perfect condition and they were rapped with bubble pack and had styrofoam between each. There is not a scratch on them and they look great.
