Review: Great light source and easy installation. - I have used six 250w light fixtures to light up the center section of my barn (23’x50’). The lights are 13.5 feet above the concrete floor and the spacing is about 17’x23’. The area is very well lit and I have measured 270 lux along the center line of the barn, 420 lux at seven feet away from the lights and 900+ lux directly under the lights. The great angle of these lights also illuminate the two side sections of the barn very well at about half the lux.
Review: 2 thumbs up - Coming up on 4 years since I installed these and I couldn’t be more pleased. I put 10 of these in the ceiling of my 40x60 hangar with high ceilings. During the day, you can tell the lights are on unlike other high bay lights. At night, they are almost too bright (I put 5 on one switch and 5 on another. I never have to turn both on at night). I was surprised to see they were made of some kind of aluminum/metal and were actually heavier than expected (quality? maybe?). I have never tried any other light because these have lasted for as long as I’ve needed them to thus far. I would recommend.
