First, a little goes a long way. I start with a very lightweight sheer moisturizing foundation, and then I put a small streak of this blush on my cheeks and high on my forehead and then blend it in. I might add a touch more here or there to even things out but this stuff stays and lasts. I didn’t/don’t have a problem with blending this blush in, but I did notice some reviews that indicate that as an issue. I think if you start with small amounts and rub lightly you’ll gradually get use to it, and like me, start knowing about how much to use and work with. If I could have only one makeup item this stick would be it. I use the rose. I have a somewhat fair complexion. I have just started using it on my lips and it works great for that as well. Now the product says it is “Young Vision” but the kicker is I’m not… young that is. I am 64 years old. So if you’re not a spring chicken any longer don’t be fool by this product’s name.
