Makes my hair soft. I love this conditioner. I prefer this over more expensive conditioners such as Pureology, Biolage, and Nexxus. One negative is that this conditioner is unavailable in a bottle. You have to buy the packets which are kind of expensive. One package lasts me probably around 7-10 hair washes. My stylist said that dry hair gets tangled easy, even in the shower. I know that is true from experience. A stylist once colored and digitally permed my hair on the same day. My hair turned into straw and would tangle in the shower even if I used a lot of conditioner.
