It wasn't a perfect fit of course but good enough to wear without tailoring it. There are clear bra type straps that go over your shoulders and you can leave them on the dress to hold it up. I like the security of them. The "embroidery" on the front is fake but looked pretty good. Some of it was sewn into the seams but no on e noticed. The front opens up all the way to the rose and the pink ruffle has a sheer black mesh layer over it. It is really a pretty dress for the thirty dollar range!I got a pink rose to wear in my hair which really ties the costume together with the black mary-jane style shoes.If you have a spouse or guy around, buy a pink rose to match your hair clip, the black Spanish hat, and have him carry a guitar.
