And the sleep timer is convenient so the light will turn off automatically. The presented time is big and visible so I don't have to squint from far away to see it. I also like the clock's modern-looking design, that fits perfectly with my modern furniture. It is very easy to use and adjust, with it only taking about 5 minutes for me to open it and set up. Also great to ween kids off the use of a night light with the dusk feature. However I am not a fan of the led light. It is not at all like a gentle sunrise. We actually have to face the display away from her bed because of the harshness of the light. The Phillips clock has more of a Daylight glow that you can face directly toward your bed without blinding you. It had ONE button for all programming purposes and the clock stayed on until I turned it off. I miss that as well as the softer (but still bright) light. This new LED clock gets the job done but not near as pleasantly.
