The spoons and tongs can be used to server a variety or liquid and solid condiments or any other items you are serving. Ideal for all your Elegant Events.

Review: Solid, well-built, quality product - I purchased this condiment bar for use at family picnics, and am very happy with it. It seems to be very well built and solid, given the price. All of the bins fit in snugly, there is room for a layer of ice at the bottom, and the tongs work well. On the box there is a suggestion to hand-wash only. I suspect the main concern with machine-washing is that hot water might melt the acrylic. I am extremely lazy and would rather die than wash something by hand. I was able to wash it in the dishwasher by: a) carefully removing the lid by using a screwdriver to unclip the hinge; b) placing on the top shelf with nothing else in the dishwasher; then c) washing with cold water; and d) reattaching the lid by clipping on the hinge again. As long as you're very careful with the hinge, I see no reason not to wash it this way. YMMV but that worked for me and that is what I'll continue to do. A+ product, definitely recommend.

**Q: Who do I talk to when item arrives broken? The big container has a large crack along the side**
A: Mine arrived broken, too. No replacement or refund. Loss of money.

**Q: Does the 5 compartment chill tray comes with a tray without the compartment**
A: The 5 individual containers sit on the top lip of the overall unit. There is space under them for ice.  You can remove one or more if you want. You don’t have to have them inside at all.

**Q: Is it dishwasher safe?**
A: If your condiment caddies are clear, hard plastic acrylic, I would assume they are not dishwasher safe and only hand wash them. If they are the type of plastic that is slightly opaque and softer, then I might try one on the top shelf of the dishwasher, but it’s my understanding (could be wrong) that it is dishwasher soap that causes most of the clouding, pitting problems with plastics. Maybe best to hand wash, period.

I purchased this condiment bar for use at family picnics, and am very happy with it. It seems to be very well built and solid, given the price. All of the bins fit in snugly, there is room for a layer of ice at the bottom, and the tongs work well. On the box there is a suggestion to hand-wash only. I suspect the main concern with machine-washing is that hot water might melt the acrylic. I am extremely lazy and would rather die than wash something by hand. Used this to hold condiments for a cookout, including lettuce and tomatoes. It worked great!. Love that I can put ice in the bottom to keep everything cold. It's a little pricey for what you get, but I knew that when I purchased it!
