Although the pants were long on me (I am 5'4") it didn't hinder my hiking ability at all. We were hiking in a few feet of snow. I was wearing running pants underneath my Kings camo and I was comfortable, warm and they fit well. It helped reading all the reviews before ordering the size I needed. I typically wear 10 so I ordered a 12. It all worked out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Pants *by A***0 on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2017* First let me say I love these pants, my husband and I desert archery hunt and it's hot and miserable most of the time. I had a pair of pants from a different company and they were slick and noisy. These pants are nice and quiet, the material is thick and durable. I only rated them four stars because of the fit. I'm 5' 165lbs and usually wear a 12 pant. I ordered up a size and I'm glad I did. The pant is definitely a straight leg and not designed for a woman with any sort of curvature. I am thicker in the hips and thighs, these fit comfortably in the leg but were tight across my bum and then VERY loose in the waist. Even with a belt cinching it up they were still loose in the waist, and while that was not flattering while standing it meant I could sit and crouch without my waistband digging into my stomach.
