Review: Seems to work well and is easy to install - I used this to hold a 26x5 inch dropdown shelf door made of 3/4 inch oak. It has the appearance of maybe being a tad flimsy looking, but it holds the weight fine so far. It was simple to install and works smoothly. The knob can fully unscrew, so I hope it doesn't fall off on its own. But so far so good. I suppose if I had used two of them, one on each side I wouldn't be as concerned...

I used this to hold a 26x5 inch dropdown shelf door made of 3/4 inch oak. It has the appearance of maybe being a tad flimsy looking, but it holds the weight fine so far. It was simple to install and works smoothly. The knob can fully unscrew, so I hope it doesn't fall off on its own. But so far so good. I suppose if I had used two of them, one on each side I wouldn't be as concerned...

I used the hinge to hold an easel in place for a Painter's Box. It works but it is just a piece of stamped medal, nothing special. I think the price is a bit high for what you get and I wonder how long it will function. It is not the best made product.
