For duct covers I bought bits of sheet metal and was able to fabricate a cover attached with metal tape. (total cost about $18) But for over $150 retail, you'd think desertcart wouldn't send you a returned item that wasn't checked in thoroughly. It is against code and not safe to make connections in the wall or outside of the unit. My only negative is the size and placement of the LED light; it’s a 1”x3” lens at the very back of the underside, very close to the wall. It works as a nightlight but isn’t much use for seeing what’s cooking on the stovetop.
