The plan was to try it check out the color and then wash it out. Well I did wash it out in my hair at least it left a little pink residue around the ends of my hair. That actually lasted about a week even after using clarifying shampoos. I do have highlights in my hair so that could be part of the reason just want to give full disclosure.
