This worked great. The only problem is it is supposed to record in ALL formats (DVD -R or DVD + R.) However, when I went to finally burn the disc, my computer said that I needed a DVD - R disc. I had put a DVD +R disc into the burner and the computer told me to change over. I re -read the burner instructions and it definely says it burns to all formats. I do not know a great deal about computers or burning disc, but I do not know why I had to go out and purchase some DVD-R disc when I had some DVD +R disc on hand. Maybe someone reading this could enlighted me. I am not even sure if it is the burners fault or just the way the canon HD camcorder recorded the vacation. Other than that it worked great.
