I have had three of these quadcopters over the past month - all new, and none of them worked out of the box - two of them have been returned except the one I bought from Gearbest (found out that the cost of returning it was $62.50 and you'll never see a refund - they never receive it from Chinese customs). I have tried everything from calibrating over and over again to updating the firmware several times. One of them flew one amazingly glorious time - no crashes and no problems. I flew it proudly until the battery died and then I carefully brought it home and kept it safely on the shelf until the following week. Brought it to the local JC expecting another awesome experience, but alas,the first thing it did was dump itself headfirst into the grass. So much for calibrating. Now it sits on the shelf unless I need a door stop. Beware of anything made by WLtoys. It is pure, unadulterated Chinese junk. Do yourself a favor and wait until you have enough money to buy a DJI Phantom instead of wasting your hard-earned cash on a Chinese knockoff.
