As a medical professional, I know cellulite is hard to correct. I am shocked to admit this product WORKS! I am not overweight but have the lovely genetic gift of lot of dimples, especially on my upper legs. These cups definitely have a good suction, the more air you squeeze out, the more it pulls your tissue into the cup. If left in place too long it will cause a bruise. I purchased a cellulite oil that I use this with. At first the massaging of my legs was borderline painful, I felt like I could feel the layers of dimpling breaking up. Before I started a month ago, I could see cellulite at rest. Now I still have cellulite that I can see if I squeeze me skin, but it looks so much better at "rest". Will continue to use. So yeah it's going to hurt a little bit. These are made of great and sturdy material and produce great suction. You can control the suction by how much you squeeze it before placing on the skin. I only do this once or twice a week with coconut oil, I feel that the shower with soap does not offer enough slip and glide for the cups. I have bruised a tiny bit but that was possibly from leaving it in one place too long and from what I mentioned above, the loosening of the fascia or ligaments that hold fat cells together and create the "orange peel" look. I am a little sore the day after but I recover pretty quickly. This is like a workout for your skin and muscles. I'm surprised by all the people complaining of the pain and bruising, it's not severe and it's part of what needs to be done if you want to get rid of the cellulite.
