It has adequate adhesive but I think some people who are complaining about it are missing an important thing here - I think they're not noticing that the adhesive is only on the very edges and you need to peel off the white protective film to use it. It does not stick to the entire lens, only to the sides of it, which is what you need in order to protect the lens from getting any adhesive goop in the area you actually look through. The first picture is weirdly convex which is not what the product is.
