It is a good size and looks nice. It doesn't immediately standout as hiding a trash can. It seems sturdy. It's exactly what you would expect from inexpensive mass-produced furniture made in China that ships in a box and requires assembly. I took off one star because of the assembly. While the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and they even provided extra screws in each bag (which I appreciate), this took almost 2 hours to build. There are 23 steps to assemble, 18 parts, and 23 different individually sealed bags of hardware pieces to open (some as many as 22 pieces). It was tedious to build. But I will say it assembled well -- all the holes were drilled and everything is marked.
