Finish is not permanent and comes off when damp. *by K***K on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2018* I got this bottle, washed it and filled it with water and set it on my kitchen counter. The mister worked well and I liked the way it looked. The next morning when I picked it up to use it I realized it left a purple stain on my counter top. This is supposed to be glass, so the finish shouldn't come off, but it did and now I have a purple ring on my counter top that I'm having trouble getting rid of. I don't know if it is some kind of painted glass, or not glass at all, but the finish comes off if it gets wet. Seems there's everything from an elephant shaped watering can to the glass mister. I got the glass mister which pretty much sucked. The misting wasn't too bad but was more of a circular spray than a mist. The real annoyance is it leeks around tip of the nossel so large drips fall on the floor or table when you try and mist. Then if you manage to use it you can only get about 1/2 the volume of water out of the jar because the pump doesn't go to the bottom. Regret buying this and going back to my dollar store spray bottle.Update 3/24/19: they must have used a really cheap coloring for the glass. Since it emits a fine spray, the water in the container doesn't need to be refilled all the time. I liked it so much I purchased one for myself. It looks very nice on the shelf near my smaller indoor plants. I arrived safely packaged and is well made.
