The wooden base has 3 divets in it, which is shown in the photo however I didn't realize this until I received it. At first I thought the base was broken but this could be a fire safety feature. I'm not sure. It's kind of weird but I'm enjoying it. If you want to try out a salt lamp this is a good, cheap way to try it out. I've had it for a while and use it every day, particularly at night when I'm winding down. ### ⭐ Very disappointed. *by S***3 on December 25, 2017* Just gave this as a Christmas gift. Makes the salt glow at different shades when dimmed. I've seen the same salt lights in various stores like Home Depot or marshalls hit or miss for 19.99 and 14.99. With colorful outerbox and instructions.
