    Good Foam Material for Modelers

Using this a build-up material for modeling plastic ships. Specifically, water-like base material under a ship or boat. It can be used as the base foam for building swells; for making cutting and trailing wake and for general purpose foam. It dries slowly enough to work as needed yet keeps the shape it is put in after a period of time. The trick to this is to experiment with a string or two first to get the general timing down, knowing that this material goes through a couple of phases in the process. It is like shaving cream out of the can at first and gets progressively stiffer as time passes, finally turning into a fairly hard foam-like material.
