I have two shih tzu with different coats. My girl has the traditional, long, silky, pin-straight hair. My boy has the adorable, wavy, ultra thick hair. My boy is very VERY prone to matting. I brush daily and still find small mats each evening (he’s a rough and tumble boy through and through). Yet this stuff allows the comb to glide through like a hot knife through butter. No resistance. And his hair is healthy, soft and smooth. My girl’s hair is super shiny and silky soft. The texture is smooth and straight without flyaways. Now, I use this stuff every day for their daily grooming and they no longer move around or fuss about being groomed. I will be keeping this stuff in stock forever now. I can’t imagine going back to grooming without it. Oh! And in case you’re wondering… it smells INCREDIBLE and makes me want to bury my face in their hair and just inhale all the time.
