Very happy with this book :) *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 January 2019* Would highly recommend this book for Thoth Tarot card readers as Gerd Ziegler seems to have a thorough understanding of Thelemic knowledge and the Thoth Tarot. But what I like most is he focuses on the positives. Personally when I'm giving a reading I like to focus on the positives so people leave uplifted & inspired to put the wisdom into practice. Tarot readings are very similar to oracles and prophecy in that regards in that you present to them the best possible outcome from the infinite amount of possibilities. You can't predict the future but you can open people up to the best path for them and this is what this book helps to do. Knowledge of the Qaballa is a must imo if one really wants to get to grips with this particular deck, but some books are SO detailed and confusing regarding the Qaballa it could be tempting to just 'give up'! However I think anyone who wants to really study the Thoth tarot this book would be a great book. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thoughtfully written, intelligent guide to the Thoth cards *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 January 2024* I highly recommend this book which is very thoughtfully written and actually makes the cards feel a bit less intimidating. The Thoth deck is great but can put a lot of people off due to it's associations with Crowley and his lifestyle. This book really takes the cards in this deck into a relevant and thoughtful space, which has enhanced my appreciation for the deck. Each card entry also has some journaling questions that help to further understand the meanings in a personal way.
