Review: Gorgeous, Challenging, and Very Rewarding! - Let me first say I love making models with extras, such as motion, lights, and sound. I also like the challenge of working with small and delicate parts. It puts me “in the zone” where I lose myself, slow down, and focus. That said, I just loved the process of putting together this little mechanical masterpiece and was charmed when I finally turned on the power and saw and heard it in all its glory. Please see the video I posted to see for yourself. The way the model technically comes together is a marvel and even as a still object, it’s beautiful as can be seen in the still picture I submitted. My only very small complaint is that the instructions were poorly translated into English which I figured out with a little pondering. Also, some of the pieces are very small, fragile, and easily be broken, however there are extra pieces provided since the kit designers anticipated that this might happen. I found this kit to be exceptional and one of the best kits I ever bought in decades of building models in metal, plastic, and wood. What is the ultimate measure for me of “value” in this kind of product? In my opinion, it’s the joy and wonder it creates, and this product packs a lot of value at a very reasonable low cost. I highly recommend this little beauty!

This puzzle was so much fun! It took me about five hours to assemble and the end result was wonderful!! Like all wooden puzzles, yes the pieces are fragile and you need to handle them with care. With this puzzle I was able to assemble it without breaking a single piece! The instructions were extremely clear, pieces fit together quite nicely, and the end result was a beautiful looking model!
