They are bright white, smooth, and come packaged to protect the corners in another sturdy box. They do not seem to warp after a few weeks of being used in this manner which I think is not how most people would use them. The cost of these was better than many of the options for dividers out there. If I were still teaching art, I would use these as canvases. I would clear spray primer these to have my students paint on them as canvases alternatives.
