The packaging was minimal yet affective.Construction looked and felt to be aluminum (heatsink)/composite (circuitry housing). Sturdy, as I gently pressed at the seams to see if there was any flex or looseness to the design, and there was none.Installation and handling instructions were very clear and concise. For my model I had to remove the rubber dust boot completely ( without reinstalling), just in case the heatsink were to get hot enough to cause worry. I felt comfortable doing this as the light and heatsink is rated for damp locations, and the light itself seals the light housing with an o-ring. Everything was a snug fit, and there is roughly 5° of rotational adjustment to get your beam focused as needed. They plugged right in, also snuggly.The Negatives- I only have two issues1. After installing the second light, I started up and repositioned my vehicle to make sure the alignment was proper. Turned off car. Went inside to tend to children. Came back out, started back up, flashed the brights to see the luminosity, then back to lows. My right side had gone already. I honestly wouldn't have noticed if I had stayed in my car, that's how well these things light up the darkness. I've made 8 trips in the dark with one of these lights functional, and it's as if I still had two. Kind of a nice Fail-Safe. I contacted the seller, who responded within the hour, and promised to replace the light by the 23rd. It's the spring holiday festival over seas, so I'm surprised I got a response that quickly.2. The wires for the transformer could be longer to make solid mounting easier. Total length is roughly 10inches from light to plug, with bending and routing you don't have many options for a good position that conforms to the instructions.I still give these a 5 star regardless of the defect, in this age of tech and mass production it is gamble of longevity and chance. The seller stated that they are aware of a higher rate of failure with sensitive electronics and will do everything to ensure the customer is satisfied.I will buy these again for my other Volvo, headlight and fog lights, and already ordered a pair for my coworker.Sorry for the long winded review, but I can't stand when people be like, " it's good, you need this!" With no valid argument as to why. This is a solid product backed by a solid company/team. I had multiple people respond in a 24hr period. Customer service trumps all! If you take off the rubber cover and cut off the peace that was touching the old light bulb about 1/4 in. Take the 2 peace's of the new light apart, put the base of the light on the 4 runner attach the spring then the rubber cover then the light bulb by pushing in , lining up the bayonets , twist to lock in. Very well made. Accept for the modification of the rubber cover everything went smoothly I didn't even have to a just the headlights,they were spot on. Wow everything is so much clear and cleaner looking. If these last as long as they say they should , I definitely recommend these leds there great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cool looking bulbs. You'll need the right housing tho *by C***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2018* Had to return them since the heat sink was so large it wouldn't fit in my headlight housing. I did get a chance to turn them on though and the light it casts is bright white. I did notice they don't throw the light very far down the road, but have since noticed that like the HID lights, you need projectors for these. THE BEST option out there for standard halogen bulbs are the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras!Thats what I ended up with and holy **** they're bright. I've had a few people flash me thinking my brights were on.
