Review: Decent less than perfect - Update: the grass smells disgusting. The urine doesn’t always go through it, so when I change the pad urine spills off. Gross. I am not sure how often I am supposed to hose it off (warm now, so u can do it outside), but hosing it off and letting it dry takes time. I still kinda like it, but it’s gross, I’m sure what to do, I hope my doggie gets used or just a pad, so I can toss the grass, because I don’t want my house to smell like urine. Original review: I bought this for my mature Maltese. The weather has been really bad and it’s very cold for her. She took to it within a week, I put it out where she has her little accidents and then I moved it out of the middle of the room and she continued to use it. My one complaint is the black padding gets disgusting. I washed in the washing machine with oxy wash, soap and in the sanitary cycle and it’s still stunk. I soaked it in vinegar and dawn and OXY and it’s still stinks so I have went to disposable pads. The shredding of the grass is not a problem for me. There were a couple that shredded off when I washed it in the tub, but my dog is not a digger or a chewer so it’s not a problem.

**Q: Where can I get some more of the washable fabric pads? Not the turf, the black fabric pad that goes between.**
A: I have had same question however I found to use a regular dog pee pad temporarily while washing the original fabric pad that it comes with I hope this helps

**Q: I have a mini schnauzer, which size i should choose? small or med?**
A: Depends on how much he weighs. I have the small size, but my Yorkie is only 4 pounds.  If he were much bigger, it would be too small. If you dog is over 5 or 6 pounds, I would go medium.

Gave it a 5 star gor the quality and fit. I had to return it because my chihuahua kept hitting the grass and pulling it out of the base.
