The idea of recessing the flexible hose to give easier access to the valve stem on the bike was a simple yet ingenious bit of design and engineering. Also, I tested it under 90 lbs of pressure and it didn’t break, although it does take a little patience and strength to unscrew but that is to be expected under higher pressures.
