After happening across a YouTube video about masa harina, I wanted to try making tortillas and tortilla chips for him since the corn is soaked and might be more easily digestible. They were super easy and tasted good, although the recipe on the bag and others I looked at didn’t include any salt, and my husband wants be to add some next time. I don’t have a tortilla press and gave up my rolling pin after going grain free, so I pressed the tortillas between two cutting boards, which worked pretty well, but I need to roll the tortillas a little thinner next time. Having said that, my first attempt went pretty well overall. The tortillas held together and were soft and flexible, and I made (salted) tortilla chips in my air fryer with the leftovers. I will continue to use and would recommend.
