After just one walk it felt like our 60 lbs dog had already reached the bungee's limit & outstretched it for good. I am not at all confident this bungee will keep its elasticity for very long. We use the handle closest to the dog quite a bit to make him heel and keep him under close control. Both handles on this leash and from what it looks like on most types of leashes like this, are split and have only a single nylon string as a loop to hold onto. It felt very uncomfortable, cutting much more into my hand than a dual loop handle.I want a second handle close to the dog like this one, but padded - unfortunately this leash doesn't exist yet. All the ones I found have the closest second handle at least 18 inches away from the hook. I love the idea of hands free leash with a waist belt like this one, but the ideal one hasn't been produced yet ...
