The utility and comfort make it a clear choice for those businesses, and why shouldn't we have that in our homes as well?3 of these stools stack to fit under my kitchen island, and stacking comes easy. They are light weight and have a hand-hole in the seat. Pulling one out is no challenge at all.They are made of a sturdy metal that is given extra strength by the shape of the frame. Bends and dimples are strategically placed to prevent buckling or warping. Unlike most wooden stools, these metal stools can even hold beef-fed Americans.Rubber feet prevent floor damage, and stacks of them can be dragged outside or inside as you like. I got online and looked at a bunch of stools. I liked the glossy black finish. The seller claimed they were stable, which they are. They do not wobble one bit. The package arrived more quickly than expected. The stools were packaged incredibly well. They came fully assembled and stacked with padding in between each stool to prevent scratching. The height is just perfect for my counter height island. The one thing that really sold me on these as opposed to ALL the others I looked at is the weight capacity of 330 pounds! Being the safety conscious person that I am, that was above all the most important factor for me. The competitors I saw do not match this. All the competitor stools I looked at had a significantly lower weight capacity. I was concerned they might be uncomfortable, but that is NOT they case. Boxed nicely and yet easy to unpack. We tried another company and color didn’t match to what we were expecting. These stools also were a bit different in color than we thought. However it was a good difference because we had a black pipe table that we had just made and we are having a hard time pairing them up with gray or silver gunmetal looking stools. The stools are perfect they have the industrial color to go with the black piping. They are not gray like my cupboards or silver like the spoon that I placed on one of the chairs. They do not look like the gun metal color that you see on spray can tops. They have more of a satin look not shiny. I tried to take a picture of it but there’s kind of some maybe buffing strokes on the chairs where they were buffed and this just tops off the industrial look. They are not wobbly and have a plastic/rubber tip on ends so not to scrap our tile floors.
