## Description

PlatSil Gel-10 Silicone Rubber is a two-part, platinum-catalyzed, liquid silicone system that cures (RTV) to a milky white, Shore A10 rubber. This silicone is most often used to make prosthetic appliances. This 2-lb kit includes: 1 lb of PlatSil Gel-10 Part A (~1 pint) 1 lb of PlatSil Gel-10 Part B (~1 pint)

Review: Gel 10 is the stretchy one - I am having so much fun with this stuff. I am taking castings of big fruit and vegies [the size of my head] to made bathing caps [I'm a swimmer]. The backwards patterns of common fruit like the pineapple is similar yet different, making you think about the amazing patterns in Nature.

**Q: Can this be used ro make silicon babies**
A: If the baby is entirely silicone, sure. If you're using it exclusively for the skin, you're asking for a slightly more complex process that involves buying separate TinThix silicone thickening agent and getting the portions just right. If you've got a mold to pour it into, by all means this is fantastic. For brush-on application, I would nominate you look elsewhere. Additionally, I would suggest YouTube searching "Brick in the Yard platsil gel 10" for some advice. Great channel, BrickintheYard.

**Q: Will it make a very soft silicone baby like a real human like one**
A: Yes the gel-10 is very soft

**Q: Can you use this in a mold made from plaster?**
A: We made a mold with the polytek platsil gel-10, and poured plaster into it with no problems, so I feel it would work.  It sounds like this is the opposite of what you are looking to do, but it seems it would work both ways. We experimented with using coconut oil as a lubricant and it worked with and without. Multiple uses of a plaster mold will make the plaster break down eventually and leave chunks in the gel.

**Q: Is this mold clear when it is done?**
A: no color unless you add one and well it is not glass clear if you want to put it like that kind of foggy not see true

Loved gel 10. 75 degrees or warmer it hardins fast without harder. 60 -70 have time to work with it. First time used gel 10 already bought it second time so I love using it
