Once connected to the phone it automatically reconnect pretty fast when you unplug and replug it to prevent it from draining the battery when you turn the car off. As for phone call quality, my family says they can hear me fine while on my end I had to lower the bass eq and mess with the volume between the phone and car to get clean audio. As for music quality you have to find a radio station number that's far isolated from other stations to avoid the signal getting hijacked by other cars or stations interfering with the audio.
