I mounted them on a steel cart that holds a 450 pound lathe and another 200 pounds in tooling. Fully loaded they roll around effortlessly. I had tried others that were rated similarly but the weight bent the metal wheel mounts. The metal brackets on these castors are heavy duty and made thicker to handle the weight. My only "complaint" is that the supplied mounting screws should not really be used, unless you are mounting these to wood, and even then you should pre-drill the holes and wax these screws before installing. Also, the screws are #3 phillips and the supplied mini screwdriver is a #1 phillips, so basically it's useless.
