Not constricting to the point of being uncomfortable but they dont roll down!!!! Like magic, im telling you. I havent machine washed them yet, but I think I might hand wash them just to be safe. I think they should hold up okay in the washing machine, but I would never put them in the dryer to prevent shrinking. Hang drying would be preferable. In any case, do yourself a favor and buy these, they will inspire a newfound love for your wardrobe and self-esteem!
