I use an ergo mouse so a small surface is fine. Review: Creates impromptu workstation, but always damaged & has bad fitment. - I have bout a few of these to be use like in the pic. With a monitor/shelf & trackball mouse, it creates a nice little workstation out of a rack. Beware of damage. I've had to return a few due to damage & the others are acceptable. Appears to be prior to carrier. Also the side holes are smaller than the screws, so they take a little convincing to go in.
