It will fit but the iPhone 6 has a headphone jack whereas the 7/8 does not so there is no hole in this case for the headphones. Also the hole for the camera is different , but this one I has a large hole for the camera so the camera for the 6 will work but the hole will be too large. **Q: is it easy to take on and off?** A: Yes. It’s not a flexible case so it doesn’t bend a lot, but if you remove it from the edges at the bottom it’s really easy. And it just snaps on. **Q: Does a pop socket stick to it** A: Yes it sticks to it but because of the type of soft material it’s made out of mine popped off a few times but after sticking it back on it finally stuck to it pretty good **Q: Would it be a good case to put over a cracked back of a phone?** A: Not sure. She is very happy with it. The color of the pouch is a very nice bright red. Good to identity the phone easier if it is placed on a table. the skin is smooth and easy to put into pants pocket. There are some out there that are rough and hard to pocket. The pouch fits perfectly for the iPhone 6s we have. All the openings are placed in the correct spot. The color has not faded and the pouch after several weeks of use still looks like new. I thought the price was a bit on the higher end but it think it is worth it at the end. It also has a small logo in the back.
