The enclosure is custom cut plexiglass. Some reviews say it is cardboard - that is incorrect. The plexiglass comes with a protective paper cover you remove. There is no cardboard in the construction of the clock. Other reviews say it has no instructions. That is also incorrect. There is a QR code you scan to download the instructions. The device is controlled with three buttons - a set button and two up/down buttons. Even without the instructions its pretty easy to figure out. The clock is powered by an included USB-C cable. My only complaint is that a USB power brick wasn't included. For a $50 clock, adding a $2 power brick seems easy. But, it works with any USB supply and if you don't have one laying around you can buy one for a couple dollars. Overall I love the look of this clock.
