Review: Really Reduces Debri Build Up On the Bottom of the Pond - I have it in the pond for a couple of months and it is keeping the bottom of my pond debris free. It keeps the debris suspended in the water column so that the filter can do its job. Once a week I change the angle of the flow due to the size of the pond (2,100 gallons). It helps with where there is a normal build up debris. I contemplated adding a couple more units but decided to save the money and electricity and just move it around. Very glad I took a chance on this. Review: Its a great fan for your pond - This pond fan is great and I love that it creates a current in my pond pushing debris to the skimmer. It works great and is easy to use and install. The only downside is the need to regularly remove it from the pond to clean the outer housing. If I could suggest an improvement for this product It would be a reverse fan switch. Leaves and debris do get stuck to the fan enclosure and it eventually affects the fans ability to move water. Currently the only solution is to remove the fan and clean the housing.
