This tool made the job easier and is better than anything I've ever owned or used before. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Far better than average. *by A***. on August 7, 2022* If you've ever bought one or more "professional" watch tool sets currently sold on Amazon, you know the deal. They come with everything you need, we're told, to change out a dead battery or resize a watch band, and I suppose that's true -- but it's only true once because the tools are of such poor quality that by the time you're finished sizing one band the link remover tools (like this one) are broken or bent, as are any of the little pin punches. I've bought three or four such kits hoping to find an exception, but they're not worth the price of postage, especially if you're working on a watch you bought somewhere other than the Walmart jewelry counter that you'd rather not scratch. Basically, all of these link remover tools sold on Amazon look identical, following one of two propototypes. The basic design idea seems sound, but the metal is so soft that it seems like melted down resin core solder., poured into molds to form ill-fitting pieces. So I was quite shocked when I received this OTOOLWORLD link remover, as it actually seems built to survive more than one use. The screw shafts turn smoothly through the frame with little to no play. Also, the round platform pieces that raise or lower the watchband when you turn them unti the push pin aligns with the watchband link pins -- well, they function smoothly and work as designed, instead of falling out when you turn them. Look, this device is not a precision part suitable for the James Webb telescope, but it's infinitely better than any others I've bought here, and it actually works for occasional home use.
