It is firm but does stretch a little and has some give. Watched a few videos and gave it a shot. For the slip solution recommendations were for 2ml baby shampoo per 32 ounces of distilled water. I found it better with 2.5 ml or 1/2 teaspoon and 24 ounces of water. It allowed a little more slip and forgiveness for a beginner. For the tack solution recommendations were not to exceed 17% alcohol so I used 150 ml 91% isopropyl alcohol to 850ml of water, Or 3 ounces of alcohol for every 17 ounces of water. This ratio worked well for me to tack corners. I found the application fairly easy on flat or slightly curved areas. Once applied it is very hard to see and has similar gloss to car. Looks very good. Squeegee worked well. Just the right stiffness for me. Due to my inexperience had difficulty on sharp corners and different angles. Material was forgiving, was able to remove and reapply fairly easily. Recommendations were to wet hands thoroughly with skip solution, clean area thoroughly and wear lent free clothes. I did have some issues with small pieces of lent/dirt on white car. If I noticed in time was able to pull film away and flush out with slip solution. Would definitely buy again. I may even try to do the hood. I also applied to inside of cup holder and seems to be working very well. Metal cups were scratching the plastic. I don’t know what other films are like so nothing to compare to, but this seemed like a very good product.
