A nice upgrade for my vintage Miyata's original steel post. It had the old clamp style. This style is much smoother looking. Micro adjust for angle, nice fit and finish. Note: Always use a little anti seize on bottom of post to avoid corrosion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only Brand Seat Posts I Buy *by D***R on July 3, 2024* The machining quality is great, they look good, and I've never once experienced any problems with them. I especially like the fact that they come in so many diameters, also that they're long enough for the '90s hybrid frames I like — I don't like bending my knees much, so I can sit up nice and high thanks to these excellent products. They seem to be relatively light, too, for what they are. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid entry level offset seat post *by A***. on November 25, 2020* I bought two of them to experiment with optimum settings of my bike saddle. One is used on my road bike, the second one on my bike trainer. I have more high end seat posts, too, but I like to be able to swap posts with mounted saddles during my tests to get an instant comparison. It is much more difficult to find a seat post with an offset, especially offset over 20 mm, than a simple plain straight seat post - and I need an offset due to my body anatomy, otherwise I end up with too much weight on the handlebars which translates to numbness of arms, and shoulder and upper back pain.PROs:1. very attractive price2. 25 mm offset (great for those who need an offset to improve fore-aft balance on the bike)3. It is very easy to take off and install saddle with this seatpost.4. 300 mm seatpost length offers a fairly generous range for height adjustments (even though some posts go to 350 mm)CONs:1. it lacks the precision of saddle position tuning which other adjustment systems offer (e.g., two bolts system). This is more important than one may think because position of bike saddles, especially road bike saddles, have to be tuned very precisely to be comfortable.NEUTRAL.1. The way how it is built from two parts, an Aluminum tube and and insert pressed into the tube, creates a potentially weak point in which the post can, at least theoretically, fall apart. I am close to 250 Lbs, and I had no issues so far, but I am aware of this reliability concern and check on the post regularly. High end post are molded as a single piece.SUMMARY.
