I was skeptical because the lactase pills never worked for me. Using this I have been able to add it to heavy cream to make whipped cream, cream cheese to make cheese cake, basically any ingredient that is not a full on solid, and it neutralizes the lactose in the product. I add what I deem is an appropriate amount of the powder to the product, stir or shake and put in the fridge. I usually give 3 days or more, shaking/stirring at least once a day. I have told several other people about it and everyone has had the same results that I have had.. This vendor gets the product to me on time and never an issue. I've been contemplating trying to make my own cheese using this, maybe someday I'll give it a try. This is because you refridgerate the treated milk - this enzyme does not work as fast in lower temperature. If you leave it out at room temperature, milk will go bad pretty fast. Tried 2 scoops (10000 fcc) equivalent to a lactase pill, ended up diarrhea within half an hour. Doubled the dose to 20000 fcc and same out come. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and upped the dose to 30000 fcc with 3 day wait time and decidedly said it doesnt work.
