Works perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Poor quality. Didn’t last a year. *by D***L on October 4, 2022* The wiring is too fragile. After barely a year of use the wiring connection has already gone bad. The slightest bump on the reader and it’s the same as unplugging it. This device is not well made enough to constant use which is the point of a lanyard card holder and reader. ### ⭐ DOD/Gov computers require extensive setup *by J***L on August 28, 2021* I used this for nearly a month. It is a little heavy, but it worked. But when I got a new badge today, the computer wouldn't recognize it.The product support page has instructions for military and government users to uninstall and reinstall a bunch of stuff to make it work. That might work for me, but it shouldn't be that hard, and I'm not about to start mucking around with security certificates (I'm not a security expert, so who knows what loopholes I might be opening - these certificates aren't trusted for a reason - and maybe it would prevent the cheap plastic readers from working so I'd be completely locked out).I have several cheap plastic readers that work just fine with the new badge with no additional setup.Unfortunately, it's too late for me to return it.
