This is under the Wittboy section at Amazon. But yes you can use multiple gateways each monitoring 8 soil sensors. But you will have to manually configure each gateway to specific sensors. **Q: Is the wind both speed & gust? Is total rain available in the app with out any internet? Is this station good for remote camping?** A: I use my older Ecowitt without internet. It reports via rf to ecowitt module which puts it onto my netork. Then raspberry pi zero w that is running Weewx and gets the data that logs everything and displays it in graphs for day, week, year. The sensor head doesn't take up a lot of room. The included bird spikes is a great addition to keep birds from landing and perching on the sensor. The display is very clear and easy to read. Can be set for C or F. All the other readings like air pressure, solar units, etc.. have various measurement type settings. The wind speed and direction sensor is very cool. No need for spinning windmills and such that take up a lot of room. Wind is electronically sensed. Hook up is fairly easy. You turn on the display panel and sensor, download the app from the play store. It walks you through connecting to your home wifi. Then everything starts working.
