The inner cavity of the bait cup is 7/8” wide x 1-1/8” deep and O-ring sealed for secure and water tight storage of jigs, tackle, wax worms, minnow heads, plastic baits, and more. Bait cups are also interchangeable and make a handy tackle storage system (check out our bait cup lanyard holder). This 30” medium heavy action ice rod with ergonomic cork handle is built on a high grade solid carbon blank with chrome stainless lightweight fly eyes in a single guide configuration to reduce ice build up and ease de-icing of rod eyes (just brush them off). Features a strong backbone for secure hook setting and a sensitive neon orange tip for easy bite detection and finesse applications. This is a perfect ice rod for angling lake trout, walleye, northern pike, eelpout, and bass. Works great as a jigging ice rod or a dead stick ice rod.
